**About the Company**

The Department of Communities and Justice delivers legal, court and supervision services to the people of NSW by managing courts and justice services, implementing programs to reduce crime and re offending, managing custodial and community-based correctional services, protecting rights and community standards and advising on law reform and legal matters.

Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Communities and Justice Sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.

**About the role**

We are looking for a motivated Operations Manager whose primary role is responsible for the operational management of the Victims Register, involving monitoring, supporting, developing and leading best practice service delivery to victims of crime.
The Operations Manager oversees a team of up to 11 staff.

**About You**

We are looking for a self-motivated compassionate employee, who has skills within complex trauma and displays high levels of courage and resilience.

We require you to be accountable for your decisions and passionate about continuous improvement ensuring compliance with policy and procedures.

**Essential requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Allied Health services or equivalent experience working with victims of crime and the provision of support and guidance to them.
- Current driver’s licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role.
- The role requires the incumbent to be available to work “on call” as required.
