**About the Role**

Grampians Health Ballarat is looking for a detail oriented Program Assistant to join the Central Intake team. You’ll play a key role in managing referrals, ensuring clients access the care they need promptly. This is a fixed-term position until August 2025, with flexible work hours. The role is suited for those with strong data entry skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service. This role is Monday - Friday (no weekend work).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage incoming referrals and direct them to the appropriate teams
- Enter referral information accurately into the patient administration database
- Assist with the coordination of patient care requests
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry of all relevant information
- Support the team in maintaining the smooth operation of the intake process

**Skills & Experience**
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Efficient and accurate data entry skills
- Experience in administration or customer service (healthcare preferred)
- Ability to handle competing demands with attention to detail
