**Program Assistant (Administration)**

**Permanent Part Time - 7.6 hours (1 day) per week**
**HS1 ($29.57 base rate per hour).**
The Allied Health Directorate currently has opportunity for a Program Assistant (Administration) to join our team in a permanent part time capacity.
As a Program Assistant with us you have opportunity to support community members along their allied health-care journey with BHS, by providing first class customer service for our clientele and dedicated administration support to our clinical teams. You will be part of a small friendly team of “P.A.s”, working collaboratively to achieve our goals.
This 1 day per week role provides administration support, including waitlist management, data entry, and other day-to-day tasks for two key allied health programs:
- The Osteoarthritis Hip and Knee Service (OAHKS), delivered by the Physiotherapy team
- The Voice, Swallowing and Airways assessment service, provided by our Speech Pathology team
Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to experience the variety of other PA team tasks, which include “front of house” reception duties for our allied health programs at the Ballarat Base Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC), and operation of the QEC phone switchboard.
Your communication and interpersonal skills will be of the highest standard, including the ability to identify and solve problems constructively, listen, and relay information.
We are looking for a person who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, has good judgement, and the ability to adapt with competing demands.
Relevant experience in a community or health environment is desirable.
