**About the Role**

We are seeking a skilled facilitator to join our team and deliver a bike education program supporting young people in primary and secondary school at risk of disengaging from education.

The bicycle education program facilitator assists in delivering the program, supporting staff and volunteers, and facilitating sessions with participants. This includes assisting with bike repairs and maintenance, working with participants to fix bikes, build bike knowledge, confidence and teamwork skills, and supervising program activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support program delivery and assist staff and volunteers
  • Facilitate sessions with participants and assist with bike repairs and maintenance
  • Work with participants to develop bike knowledge, confidence and teamwork skills
  • Assist in supervising program activities and support participant engagement
  • Maintain confidentiality and safety of participants

**Skills and Qualifications**

* First Aid qualification is required

* Experience working with young people is highly desirable

* Passion for bikes and ability to engage with participants is essential
