**What will I contribute?**

This is an important role that ensures our amazing fresh produce meets our food safety and quality standards.

You'll be responsible for managing the quality of incoming and outgoing produce to ensure that it conforms to established specifications of quality.

**Here's what you'll be doing.**
- Inspecting stock both incoming and outgoing to ensure the required quality standards are adhered to.
- Documenting inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports
- Recording errors, identify potential causes and recommend corrective actions
- Managing retention sampling program
- Conducting daily scale calibration
- Conducting daily and weekly chemical concentration checks and weekly chemical inventory
- Conducting weekly and monthly environmental swabs
- Conducting monthly pest control audit
- Reporting all food safety and sanitation issues to immediate supervisor
- Liaising and communicating with Production Team, Technical Quality Team and other Managers as required
- Please note this is a Monday to Friday role and requires you to start at 6am, 4 days of the week and at 5:30am, 1 day of the week to conduct post hygiene swabbing_.

**What do I need for the role?**

You'll have:

- Attention to detail & Computer literacy
- Demonstrated organisational skills and a methodical approach to work
- Excellent team working and communication skills
- Practical knowledge and experience working in a warehouse/distribution facility
- Work well under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to comply with and support workplace health and safety requirements
- HACCP Awareness would be well regarded

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
