As an independent entity, the Office of the Governor provides best practice, quality advice and support to the role of the Governor and provides efficient and effective stewardship of the Government House Estate.
**Job description**:
The Executive Support Officer is responsible for delivering high-quality, detail-driven administrative services to support the Office of the Governor. In this role, you will assist with the precise maintenance and preparation of the Governor's official diary, manage inward and outward correspondence, and perform general administrative tasks, including answering telephone enquiries, record keeping and general office support. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure that all engagements and communications are handled with accuracy and professionalism.
**The Opportunity**:
We're seeking a people-centric Executive Support Officer to join our passionate team of professionals. You will partner with stakeholders across the whole organisation to best support the Governor to fulfil their constitutional, ceremonial and civic responsibilities and achieve the Office's strategic objectives. The role plays an integral part in facilitating the delivery of Australian Honours and Award ceremonies in Queensland as well supporting the Office's Community and School group tour program.
**What's On Offer**:
Contract, part-time based in Paddington, Brisbane CBD
Total full-time remuneration value $59,492- $65,236 p.a. Base salary $52,145 to $57,179 plus leave loading and 12.75% superannuation. (pro-rated for part-time)
