Seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join a growing organisation based in Footscray. This is a fantastic time to join a thriving business.

**The company**:
Robert Half are proud to be partnered with a growing organisation based in Footscray to recruit a Payroll Manager. This role has become live due to internal projects and will be covering a secondment over the next 12-18 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is available at short notice, enjoys managing and is interested project work.

**The role**:
As the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will be:

- Manage the day-to-day Payroll function for 1000 employees
- Lead a Payroll team of 5 employees
- Mentor and develop team members
- Maintain integrity and security of payroll data and systems
- Mange the payroll helpdesk
- Oversee and manage payroll projects
- Process improvements

**Your profile**:

- Previous experience managing a similar size payroll function
- Leadership experience
- Experience using iChris or chris21
- Appetite for process improvements
- Available immediately

Due to this being an urgent requirement, you will need to be available on short notice (maximum 1 weeks' notice) to be applicable for this position.
