The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Trade Coordinator (Refrigeration) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation on Asset Maintenance requirements
- Manage and supervise day labour and/or contractors as needed
- Promote positive trades work outcomes and meet performance criteria
- Conduct regular condition assessments of GCHHS built assets.

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- Possession of a recognised Australian Trade qualification, Certificate III Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic or equivalent
- Possession of Restricted Electrical License and Australian Registration Refrigeration Council
- Possession an Australian Refrigeration Council Handling Licence
- Driver Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent Full Time
- Base salary of $101 197.20 per annum (inclusive of Trade Coordinator Allowance)
- Paid Tool Allowance

About Us
Maintenance Services sits within the service line of Asset Management Services within the Strategic Planning and Assets Division and comprises of a maintenance manager, maintenance coordinators, administrative staff, trade coordinators and approximately twenty trade staff including apprentices. Included in the trades are electricians, plumbers, fitters, painters, carpenters, refrigeration technicians and gardeners. Based in Robina.
