- Job description**Position Summary & Key Responsibilities**
The Resource Coordinator (RC) will work closely with the Firm’s internal consulting population across our two largest solution areas: assessment & succession and leadership development, to staff and schedule talent for clients and to optimise resource deployment.
As a RC, you will staff and schedule consultants from Analyst to Senior Client Partner level to deliver client work. The role requires a blend of following complicated multi-step processes, ability to see creative solutions and problem solving in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Our Resource Management operates as part of a wider, cohesive PMO team providing a strong, engaged and supportive professional resourcing network. Everyone on the team is responsible for helping to establish our internal and external brand.
**Position Responsibilities**
- You will organise the appropriate staffing and scheduling for client projects, through understanding the resources available and being able to allocate in a way that maximises those resources;
- You will prioritise resources based on your knowledge of our talent pool and our clients;
- You will manage any scheduling or staffing conflicts that arise;
- You will look to continuously improve the resource management process, as well as identify opportunities for capability building or better use of available resources;
- You will build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders;
- Have a strong understanding of project management, including elements such as knowledge of project delivery cycles, billable hours, and time entry, and an awareness of utilisation metrics and how scheduling decisions can affect the results of our consultants;
- You will be responsible for following client communication SLAs, and utilise agreed upon client templates for communication where available.
**Education, Experience, & Other Qualifications**
- Logistics coordination/event planning/staffing experience, especially calendar management of multiple people in remote locations
- High attention to detail
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to be adaptable and manage stress in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Ability to build and foster relationships with cross-functional and remote teams, at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to influence without authority
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Excel, and Access) with the ability to quickly learn new systems
