**Salary**:$85,751 - $90,264 p.a. + super

The Strategy & Performance team plays a vital role in supporting the City’s long-term sustainability. As a Risk Officer, you’ll help embed a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement across the organisation.
**What You'll Do**:
- Assist in identifying, analysing, reporting, and monitoring strategic and service risks
- Maintain and update the City’s corporate risk registers
- Support the implementation of risk management software and training
- Analyse data to identify emerging risks, trends, and opportunities
- Assist in developing business continuity plans and risk mitigation strategies
- Provide secretariat support to the City’s Accountable Stirling Management Group
- Contribute to risk reporting for Executive, Audit Committee, and other stakeholders
**What You Bring**:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a passion for risk and improvement. You’ll ideally bring:
- Progress towards or completion of a relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent experience
- Understanding of risk management principles (AS/NZS ISO 31000:2018)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop reports, procedures, and presentations
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
