**About the team**
You will be an integral component of the Birth of a Child project team, working towards the goals of our pilot project.

This is an exciting time to be coming on board as we take the outcomes of the first few years of our pilot and further expand the reach to both a broader geographical footprint and an expanded customer cohort.

This role will offer a wide variety of work which is both challenging and fulfilling, opening up a multitude of opportunities for the right person.

**Tenure***

The roles are full-time, non-ongoing/ongoing, non-ongoing contracts for up to 18 months.

**Location of role**

This role is located in Melbourne CBD, VIC.

**What you will do**

Project Support professionals support the Project Manager. They monitor project schedules and budgets, prepare progress reports, and liaise with key stakeholders.

Project Officers undertake procedural, administrative or operational tasks to support the delivery of the agency’s projects.

Working under the support and general direction of senior staff, their responsibilities include assisting with research and analysis, drafting project documentation and providing general administrative support to project related activities.

**As a Project Officer you will work as part of a multi-skilled team to**:

- assist and support senior staff with the coordination of straightforward processes
- support the development and management of project teams and schedules in accordance with the agency’s project management framework
- contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvements
- provide advice, procedural guidance and administrative support to staff and stakeholders.
- assist with research and analysis on relevant project activities.
- assist and support regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
- assist in drafting project documentation for review by senior staff.
- under supervision, assist with monitoring a project budgets, reporting on expenditure and reconciling the payments.
- assist with the identification and treatment of risk.
- build rapport and maintain stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of projects.
- represent the team or work area at meetings and forums.
- exercise delegations appropriate to roll in accordance with legislation and guidelines.

Obtained a qualification in Project Management, Software Engineering; Software Development; Information Technology; Systems Engineering; Computer Science; Network Security; Data and Analytics; Mathematics; Statistics; Engineering; Business; Software Development; Cyber Security or related disciplines or have relatable real-world experience in same or similar fields.

Knowledge of project and programme management frameworks
