Job Description

Aurora Dairies is currently seeking a Finance/Business Analyst to join our team. The role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will work collaboratively with the operational, commercial and financial teams of the business.

What the role entails;

As Aurora's Finance/Business Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic, financial, and operational decision-making. Leveraging experience gained within a top-tier accounting or professional services firm, the role will ensure that business problems are framed accurately, financial and operational performance is rigorously assessed, and solutions are designed to deliver measurable value.

This role has a number of key focus areas, including;

• Financial Strategy & Planning - Develop financial models, conduct market analysis, and lead strategic projects to support investment decisions, budgeting, and alignment of financial and operational goals.
• Strategic Support- Support corporate strategy and transformation by identifying growth and efficiency opportunities and benchmarking performance against industry standards.
• Data Driven Insights- Analyze trends, variances, and KPIs to identify risks and opportunities, and deliver clear reports and dashboards to senior leadership.
• Process Optimization- Support reporting cycles with analysis and insights, while improving processes through system enhancements and automation.
• Stakeholder Engagement- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align solutions and deliver clear, executive-ready communications and recommendations.

Qualifications

The qualifications and experience required for this opportunity are;

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in financial analysis or business advisory
• Prior experience at a Big Four firm is essential
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CA are highly regarded.

Additionally, our ideal candidate will have the following skills and capabilities;

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modelling tools
• Strong understanding corporate finance principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail with a strategic mindset
• Experience in cross-functional project teams
• Exposure to ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
• Proven ability to influence decision-making through data.
