About this opportunity*
Our HSE Systems Manager works closely with HSE leaders, operational leaders and employees to manage the HSE Management System ensuring compliance across the organisation.
As the HSE Systems Manager you will be responsible for the development, implementation, assessment and review of a comprehensive HSE management system and the delivery of initiatives that improve HSE outcomes in the workplace. Collaborating with HSE leaders and employees you will implements safe work practices, policies and procedures. You will also manage internal and external auditing requirements, reporting and communication requirements, management reviews whilst working working towards ISO standards.
**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Deliver on corporate governance through to employee engagement and understanding of HSE requirements.
- Drive culture change, effectively influencing and communicating across all levels of the organisation and creating a compelling case for the integration of safety into everyday planning, projects, programs and services.
- Set the business up for ISO 45001 certification
- Actively contribute to the delivery of a more proactive and resilient HSE culture

**Your skills and experience**
- Experience is a similar role including Covid 19 response processes
- Strong ability to question the status quo and challenge the business positively
- Current industry and insights based networks to support continuous improvement thinking
- Demonstrated experience implementing HSE management systems at scale and across geographies.
- Sound project management methods and delivery track record
- Experience in developing and implementing highly engaging safety training plans
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal across a variety of audiences
- Strong computer literacy with a high proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite
- Manufacturing or Heavy Industrial industry experience highly regarded

**Qualifications**:
Min relevant Graduate Diploma e.g., in HSE; Risk Management
