We’re hiring a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager at Toll Group to lead our Audit & Assurance team. This role can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and offers hybrid flexibility, where you can work from home up to two days per week

A day in the life of an HSE Audit and Assurance Manager at Toll Group:
- Spearhead and champion the comprehensive provision and support of HSE audit and assurance activities both internally and externally across the organization, encompassing self-insurance and regulatory compliance.-
- Lead a small, dynamic team in crafting and implementing cutting-edge assurance and auditing tools, leveraging advanced analytics to drive superior performance in HSE systems.-
- Embrace a role that offers exciting opportunities for travel, providing exposure to diverse environments, making each day a new adventure in advancing HSE excellence.-
- Advocate for Toll’s Safety Obsessed culture program, offering support and guidance to operational leaders for cultivating a Safety Obsessed workplace.What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Demonstrated experience in an HSE advisory role, with extensive knowledge of HSE legislation, industry and management system standards.-
- Strong experience working in an HSE audit, assurance, or systems position.-
- Experience within transport, logistics, or heavy industry is desirable.-
- Ability to travel (roughly twice per month) across Australia.-
- Experience with supporting multiple sites or a geographically diverse business is desirable.-
- A sound understanding of operational issues and challenges faced by line managers in implementing HSE processes and programs.-
- A consultative approach and ability to partner with both internal and external stakeholders.What moves you?
