**About the Role**

Partnering with different departments within the Autism Association, the Learning and Development Specialist contributes to the Association’s Mission and Vision through the development and delivery of learning activities that build workforce capability, capacity along with driving continuous improvement.

Key duties and responsibilities:

- Contribute to the development and implementation of staff training plans.
- Recommend responses to training needs, identified through ongoing monitoring and formal training need analysis.
- Develop, review, and maintain training content and resources.
- Deliver and facilitate face to face and online training and assessments.
- Evaluate training activities for learner outcomes and experience.
- Maintain staff training records in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

**About You**

Before anything else, you will be passionate about the work we do, have empathy and understanding for the diversity and difference of people and you will share our values. You will be able to demonstrate:

- Significant experience in the development and delivery of a variety of learning activities, including facilitation of group training, 1 on 1 assessments, and development of e-learning modules.
- Highly developed presentations skills, including the ability to engage audience in different settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Prior experience in the health, disability or community services will be highly regarded.
