Learning and Development Trainer

  • Annual salary range of $84,119 + super
  • Permanent full time with flexible start and finish times available

The role

This position is responsible for ensuring that training materials are
current, accessible, and aligned with system updates and business processes.
The ideal training specialist will be a confident facilitator, skilled instructional
designer, and collaborative partner to subject matter experts and system
administrators.

The role supports the L&D team and will contribute to the smooth running of the training function within Avivo.

What you'll do

  • Facilitate inductions, workshops, and e-learning for internal systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Run regular drop-in sessions and full-day training for Service Coordinators, and assist with L&D induction and admin tasks.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and system admins to ensure training content is accurate and up to date.
  • Review and update training materials based on feedback and recurring issues, ensuring alignment with business processes.
  • Conduct roadshow visits to community teams for in-person training and contribute to reporting on training effectiveness.

What we're looking for

  • Advanced IT skills including Excel, MS Outlook, and IT management systems
  • Experience working with  rostering systems such as Alayacare or similar ( highly desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (essential)
  • Excellent facilitation and
    communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learner groups.
  • Manage multiple
    training projects and adapt to changing priorities.
