_**Work 25 hours a week 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday in an admin/reception role for a local council.**_
**Pay rate**: $31.45 per hour
**Your primary responsibilities will include**:
- Assisting with general administrative/reception duties
- Assist with the provision of document preparation, responding to general correspondence, collating reports and submissions and preparing agendas and minutes
- Ensure accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Resolve and respond to customer enquiries in a timely proactive manner
- Oversee communication flow
- Provide support and knowledge in the use of corporate systems and technologies
**Your Specialist Knowledge and Skills**:
- Well-developed administrative skills
- Demonstrated experience and excellent skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Officer software
- Ability to learn and understand corporate electronic systems (particularly records management such as TRIM)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
**The Successful Applicant will**:
- Have a Certificate III in Office/Business Administration with experience in office administration or demonstrated office administration skills including customer service skills
- Excellent knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Have a valid Working with Children Check
- Have a valid Police Check
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 25 per week
**Salary**: $31.45 per hour
