**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our Engineering Group in a full-time permanent role based in the Melbourne CBD.

The role itself will be responsible for the management of document control for our engineering projects and resolving issues within projects to ensure version control, quality, consistency and contract / template compliance requirements are met.

This is a rare opportunity to gain exposure to a leading renewable energy business and our many exciting projects

**Other key duties and responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain document control and change registers to track document control throughout our projects. This includes project deliverables (drawings, reports, data, schedules, ITPs and ITRs), as well as the management of comments registers
- Maintain external platforms for client interfaces (specifically Aconex)
- Further the development, refinement and efficiency of document management systems
- Develop project specific document management plans and contribute to design management plans
- Assist in the management of documents as requested by project management, clients, or construction
- Create training guides, provide of guidance, and communicate updates regarding document control systems in place.

**To succeed in this role you will have**:

- Project Management qualification (advantageous)
- CAD knowledge and understanding
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance issues, OH&S Act, standards and codes
- An understanding of how large project flows are structured, along with knowledge of formal communication requirements and expectations
- Experience working with data management software (Aconex essential)
- Contract management experience.
