Our client, a leading organisation in the engineering sector, is seeking a Document Controller to support their team on a 6-month contract. This role will focus on organising and transferring engineering documentation into a newly established SharePoint system, ensuring consistency and alignment with agreed standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise, review, and transfer engineering documents (Word and PDF) from the existing G drive into SharePoint.
  • Apply the approved filing structure to ensure accuracy and ease of access.
  • Monitor and follow up on Management of Change (MoC) actions to support timely closure.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records to support the wider engineering function.

About You:

  • Experience in document control, records management, or administration within a technical or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint will be highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • A junior engineer with strong documentation skills may also be considered.
