**About us**

This family owned and operated business, supplying refrigerated transport services throughout Australia is currently looking for a Payroll Officer to be based in Dandenong South.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be the first point of call for Payroll and HR enquires as it will involve you to utilise your administrative skills to deliver accuracy and coordination of all deadlines or expectations are completed within payroll.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Processing end to end weekly payroll - 150+ people
- Maintain an up-to-date payroll, legislation compliance and regulations
- Preparation and provide of weekly and monthly reporting
- Assisting with the reconciliation of superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG, Child Support
- Manage staff files, payroll information, leave and employee benefits forms
- Review, update, create and implement policy and procedure as required
- Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Assist with staff assessment in consultation with managers
- Understanding of HR awards, compliance, and procedures

**Experience & Qualifications**
- A positive work ethic, a can-do approach and of course a sense of humour
- Clear and concise communication with accuracy to detail
- Operate MYOB, superannuation, payroll tax and child support reports
- Administration, customer service, data entry with Payroll & HR duties
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
- Knowledge of HR legislation, regulations, and Awards
