**What we are looking for**:
The Manager of SIL Services has the following key responsibilities:
- Developing and setting up SIL houses.
- Working with the mentor manager and other team members to optimise and ensure our services are in line with required standards, NDIS code of conduct and our practice standards.
- Assist with risk management and incident reports.
- Supporting the scheduling staff and assist as required to roster support staff
- Development of documents and processes, in line with regulations which assist workers to deliver their best work.
- Solving problems as they arise with a minimum of fuss
- Ensuring required documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Monitoring of client satisfaction
- Engaging with clients, carers and a variety of internal and external stakeholders and building relationships
- Providing or sourcing appropriate training where necessary
- Identifying, developing and project managing new safety, wellbeing and user experience initiatives
**About you**:
The background we are seeking is:
- Demonstrated experience in coordination of care services in a supportive / caring role or working as a SIL manager.
- Team management experience
- Knowledge and experience of NDIS Standards
- Client care and customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Demonstrated collaborative and can-do approach with the ability to work cross-functionally and think strategically to build new solutions
- Strong connection to, or interest in building an understanding of the Australian disability sector and community
- Approach work with high-energy, drive and internal motivation
- Exhibit adaptability, resilience, transparency, trustworthiness, and passion in making a difference in the lives of people with Disability, while balancing the needs for billable work.
- Happy to work in an environment that could include working with animals
- Well-developed computer skills
**Qualifications**: (desired but not essential)
- Tertiary qualifications in allied health or disabilities or be working towards.
**Certification and Clearances**: (required prior to commencing role)
- Current Working with Children Check clearance
- NDIS worker module clearance
- Senior First Aid and CPR Certification; (or willingness to get)
- Current C Class Drivers Licence.
Some out of hours work may be required as our programs operates over 7 days.
