**About Us**:
Hunter Brain Injury Respite Options Inc. trading as I Am Here. A Place To Be Me (‘I Am Here’) is an NDIS provider striving to support and enhance the lives of people with acquired brain injury and other disabilities by offering flexible accommodation options. Operating as a not-for-profit organisation, I Am Here provides services for children and adults with acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, physical, intellectual, and other disabilities. We support guests and residents with individualised respite and Supported Independent Living (SIL) packages tailored to suit their needs, with high quality short, mid and long-term accommodation.

**About the Role**:

- Assisting and supporting people with a disability in all aspects of daily living, including but not limited to personal care, building and maintaining independence as well as interpersonal relationships and community participation.
- Liaising with case coordinators to assess specialized care required by participant.
- 24/7 roster across three locations

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Minimum Certificate IV Disability or relevant industry qualification with relevant demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated capacity to supervise others in a personable and professional manner and manage conflicts.
- Experience or genuine interest in acquired brain injury, physical and intellectual disabilities.
- Capacity to manage and plan their own work and that of subordinate staff or volunteers, including progress notes, medications and incident reporting.
- Ability to undertake planning and coordination of activities including the day-to-day operations of a group of residential facilities for people with a disability.

**Essential Criteria**:

- First Aid certificate with current CPR.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
- Current NSW Driver Licence with comprehensive car insurance.
- Evidence of 3 doses of Covid-19 Vaccination.
