About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead a portfolio of Shared Living services in the Northern Beaches. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind:
- Ensuring every client thrives through safe, high-quality, person-centred supports that empower independence.

What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Champion high-quality services by supporting Home and Lifestyle Leads to deliver exceptional outcomes in Supported Independent Living (SIL).
- Inspire, mentor, and motivate your team to achieve success against key performance indicators.
- Oversee program budgets, ensuring financial goals are met without compromising service quality.
- Develop and implement Performance Enhancement Plans, addressing underperformance with fairness and efficiency.
- Recruit, retain, and nurture community support workers who share Sunnyfield's values and vision.
- Manage complaints and incidents with professionalism, ensuring compliance with policy and procedure.
- Partner with the Regional Business Manager by providing reports, insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
- Implement and refine business processes, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Proactively assess risks and seize opportunities to expand and strengthen services.
About You
You're a natural leader who thrives on making a difference. You bring:
- A proven ability to inspire and influence teams to deliver person-centred supports.
- Strong leadership experience in disability services, particularly in managing SIL homes.
- A track record of developing and supporting team leaders to achieve their best.
- Confidence in guiding teams through change and embedding new ways of working.
- Experience in incident management and effective follow-up.
- In-depth knowledge of the NDIS, NDIA Quality and Safeguards Commission, and compliance requirements.
- Financial acumen with experience in developing and monitoring budgets.
- Expertise in resolving customer complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster trust and collaboration.
- A solution-focused mindset, with a passion for identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
