The Business Services Lead provides expert business advice and support to the leadership team within the Office of the Commissioner of Environmental Sustainability. The Business Services Lead is responsible for leading business activities including public administration, finance, procurement, strategic governance and innovation.

In 2003, the Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability was established in Victoria under the Commissioner for Environmental Sustainability Act 2003 (The Act). The Act sets out the objectives and functions of the Commissioner. The Commissioner is responsible directly to the Minister for the Environment.

A relevant tertiary degree/qualification/professional membership in a relevant field is highly desirable

Demonstrated experience in finance, business management, procurement, risk and human resource management is required.

- problem solving experience and well-developed organisational and stakeholder relationship skills

- in depth understanding of and demonstrated commitment to integrity, probity and ethical conduct

**This is a fixed term position available for a period of 24 months. The work location for this position is 2 Lonsdale Street, East Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.**
