**The Role**

Claims Consultants are responsible for the management of claims activities required to process claims within expected delivery timeframes and delivering effective and consistent customer service whilst minimising costs to Coles.

The roles will be predominantly Work from Home but based from the IAG Sydney CBD office. To be able to work from home you will be required to have a designated work area and a fixed internet connection.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage claims within designated authority limits and in accordance with

Coles Claims principles to meet customer expectations and service level

Targets
- Handle inbound and outbound calls
- Deliver to customer service standards including the management of customer complaints
- Liaise with all relevant parties to provide regular updates on the progress of claims

and leverage the expertise of specialist claims teams and other key stakeholders
- Live the performance behaviours and demonstrate the Coles ways of working

to create an inclusive and flexible approach to managing Coles Claims

outcomes
- Identify and escalate opportunities for continuous improvement in processes

**Skills & Experience**
- Customer oriented with strong communication skills.
- Previous work experience in a customer facing, service-oriented role
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Prior exposure to insurance claims handling systems, processes and procedures
- Sound computer literacy
