Blake Oliver Recruitment is seeking applications for upcoming Claims Consultant positions with a leading insurance company. This organisation is preparing for storm season and is seeking to expand their teams in Brisbane and Sydney so they can ensure that they have fully trained claims professionals who are ready for an increase in claim volumes.

We are seeking customer orientated applicants who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where the policy holders' enquiries and their insurance claims are managed with the utmost professionalism. Full insurance product/claim training will be provided.

About the Role –

  • Managing property insurance claims from notification through to resolution.
  • Handling phone and email enquiries from policy holders regarding property insurance claims.
  • Arranging repairs and managing reports.
  • Processing claims requests within authority levels.
  • Ensuring work queues are maintained within service level agreements.
  • Ensuring policy holders are kept up to date throughout the life cycle of their claim.
  • Building and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Essential Requirements –

  • Excellent customer service and administration skills.
  • Claims management or other insurance/financial services experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • High accuracy levels along with the proven ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
