**The Client**:
MPL. Group have partnered exclusively with our client, a privately-owned Builder Developer, spearheaded by the Founder and Directors with extensive experience in delivering high-quality projects across the nation.

Currently poised to commence current project pipeline exceeding $200M and building, as part of the current growth strategy.

**About the Role**:
To further professionalise and expand the business, the Directors are looking to appoint a General Manager, who will serve as the lead Executive.

The General Manager will be entrusted with comprehensive responsibility for the business's overall performance. This includes financial results, realization of the business vision and strategic objectives, and maintaining cultural and ethical standards.

**Key responsibilities will encompass**:

- Evaluating and improving business-wide procedures and policies.
- Assessing the efficacy of current IT platforms and executing enhancements, which may involve scoping, selecting, and deploying new systems.
- A dedicated emphasis on personnel coaching and development, while fostering an environment of accountability for performance.
- Ensuring robust financial governance and reporting.

**About You**:
As an experienced construction industry professional, you hold a degree in Construction or Engineering, augmented by advanced Business/Management education.

**Your notable contributions include**:

- A verified history of success at the general management level, with comprehensive P&L accountability, possibly at State, Regional, or National levels.
- A track record of leading sizeable labour forces, ideally as a subcontractor, while adeptly navigating labour risks on major projects.
- Experience in critically evaluating, refining, and advancing policies, processes, and systems, particularly technological platforms.
- A consistent performance in mentoring individuals and teams towards heightened levels of achievement, culminating in profitability.
