We are currently seeking a highly motivated
- **Procurement Specialist (Indirect Category) **to join our Supply Chain team within our
- **Wetherill Park NSW Branch.**

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the primary responsibility of the role will be to create & maintain procurement and supply strategies of indirect spent material, processes, and procedures while implementing best practices in vendor management.

**Exciting Challenges**
- Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Identify suppliers, compare prices, specifications, terms, and delivery dates to determine the optimum one to utilize.
- Respond to internal and supplier inquiries, reviewing metrics, roadmaps, project plans, management reports, contracts, approve appropriate requisitions
- Establish measurable supplier performance and conduct regular review; calculate the total cost of ownership
- Establish procurement strategies for acquisition, receiving and tracking of project materials that optimize quality, cost, and timely delivery criteria.
- Coordinate supplier selection, credit and terms, track supplier performance standards, and conduct ongoing evaluation.
- Conduct research via the Internet, catalogues, trade publications, and trade shows to identify potential suppliers and liaise on pricing.
- Collaborate with management in the negotiation of contracts and lines of credit with suppliers and subcontractors when necessary.

**We Need Your Skills**
- To be successful within this role, you will:

- Have a minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience in a procurement, logistics or admin.
- Strong systems and process knowledge, preferably SAP
- Can work on multiple projects or issues simultaneously.
- Be detail-oriented, highly organised and possess strong analytical skills.
