Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a driven Procurement Specialist with expertise in Professional Services categories to join a leading banking & financial services organisation.

This role offers exposure to a broad, complex, and high-value category portfolio, providing significant career growth opportunities. You will play a critical role in managing procurement activities across professional services categories including: consulting, contingent workforce, tax, audit, financial services, legal services, and related indirect categories.

About the Role

We are seeking a high-potential Procurement Specialist eager to make an impact in a dynamic and regulated environment. This role provides direct exposure to senior stakeholders, interesting sourcing projects, and strategic procurement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 1 – 3 years of procurement experience in indirect categories (e.g., consulting, contingent workforce, tax, audit, financial services, legal services, marketing, corporate services, travel, or similar).
  • Experience in contractual and sourcing activities, including renewals and strategic projects.
  • A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to conduct market research, data analysis, and spend reviews.
  • Confidence to speak up, challenge the status quo, and bring innovation to procurement processes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills to cultivate direct partnerships.
  • A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability to navigate complex procurement landscapes.
  • Regulatory experience (i.e., experience in a highly regulated sector) is highly desirable.
  • Experience or exposure to a Vendor Management Systems (VMS) is a plus.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
