**What you’ll be doing**:
As a Risk Specialist, you'll play a key role in partnering with the Group Risk Manager to bring the Virgin Australia Risk Management Framework to life—driving its implementation, ensuring its evolution, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the business.

**You’ll be great in this role if you have**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. business degree, Certified Practicing Risk Manager, etc.)
- A proven track record in Enterprise Risk Management in a large corporate environment (minimum of 3 years)
- Experience facilitating risk workshops across all levels of management and staff
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately with detailed information
- Superior presentation, communication and facilitation skills
- Effective time management abilities
- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Sound knowledge of the AS/NZS ISO 31000 Risk Management Standard
- Working knowledge and demonstrated experience in Enterprise Risk Management, risk analysis, and reporting
- Familiarity with risk management software solutions
- A CA or CPA qualification (desirable)
- Prior experience or knowledge in the aviation or airline industry (desirable)
- Experience in Program and Project Risk Management, operationalisation of Risk Appetite, and assessing risk culture (desirable)
- Knowledge of significant legislation impacting the VA Group (desirable)
