**About the role**

In this newly created role within our Risk & Compliance team, as a **Risk Specialist - Technology Projects**, you will be responsible for second line oversight and challenge of ART’s Customer Servicing Integration (CSI) program. You will support the Manager, Technology Risk Line 2 and first-line risk teams in driving governance, oversight and continuous improvement of the technology risk management practices and organisational change in relation to the program.

Day to day, you'll:

- Support the Manager, Technology Risk Line 2 in creating and implementing the second line of defense technology risk strategy.
- Support the Manager, Technology Risk line 2 and the broader Risk team in improving the technology risk management framework in BAU and projects.
- Continuously monitor and influence technology risks ensuring risk registers and reporting of non-compliance incidents are well-maintained.
- Assist the Risk function in providing independent monitoring and reporting on the CSI risk profile to various committees and boards.
- Oversee and challenge the CSI Program’s IT Risk assessments of significant and material change activities.
- Communicate effectively to build strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence as a second line of defense leader.

This role is available as a 12-month max-term/ secondment opportunity. This role is known internally as a Risk Specialist - CSI.

- Strong knowledge of risk management and compliance objectives and approaches.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation within the Financial Services industry and proven ability to integrate into existing risk frameworks.
- Practical understanding of technology, trends and threats related to technology risk management.
- Ability to manage and influence change and to provide practical guidance on implementation of new requirements, at a senior stakeholder level.
- Highly developed verbal communication and writing skills, particularly for a senior audience.
