About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our L&D team as a Learning Administrator.
The Learning Administrator will be responsible for delivering learning programs and project outcomes across Whitehaven Coal. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing venues and resources, engaging with participants, and supporting the successful execution of learning projects.
This role is a 12-month contract position and a 4 day working week. You will work Monday - Thursday and be based in our Brisbane CBD Office.
What You’ll Do
- Organise and oversee logistics for learning programs
- Assist in planning, executing, and tracking learning projects
- Work with venues and trainings partners to schedule dates and monitor progress
- Maintain professional and timely communication with program participants and stakeholders
- Track participation, gather feedback, and prepare detailed monthly reports with actionable insights.
- Within Brisbane, support with room setup, catering and on the day logístical support.

What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a Learning & Development team or similar role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Calendar, Excel, and MS Forms)
- Strong organisational and project coordination abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and data analysis is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
