This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader in the transport and logistics industry. Our client, a leading 3PL company, has recently moved to a brand new facility in Kemps Creek and is looking for skilled individuals to join their day shift team. The role will involve managing the flow of freight to and from the warehouse, liaising with transport providers and customers, and leading the warehouse staff to meet daily order requirements.
- **Other key responsibilities include**:_
- Working closely with the customer service team to meet shipment and customer requirements
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Providing logistics support for inbound and outbound shipments
- Ensuring all warehouse activities are carried out effectively
- Completing SOP documentation as necessary
- Driving safety practices
- Identifying areas for improvement, and reducing costs.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Team Leader in a similar environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven experience working with transport providers
- High level of computer literacy (MS Office)
- An understanding of P&L and contract logistics.

Additionally, the ability to commit to full-time work from 8am-4pm and access to own transportation are required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
