**Who we are**
People Division, led by the Chief People Officer, provides human resources (HR) functions for the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (the department) with a clear focus on the department’s most valued asset: its staff.

Alongside contemporary HR functions, projects and strategies People Division is also responsible for:

- Enhancing the department’s focus on safety.
- Enterprise bargaining.
- Cultural and change management.
- The department’s response to Australian Public Service reforms.

The Rehabilitation Services team sits within the department’s People Safety and Remote People Services Branch (PSRPS Branch). The PSRPS Branch is responsible for leading the department’s approach to providing a safe and respectful workplace, including rehabilitation and performance case management, work health and safety, wellbeing strategies, and change management practices. The PSRPS Branch also provides a strategic partnership offering for Parks Australia and the Australian Antarctic Division, working with these divisions to develop and deliver a suite of HR strategies to manage complex business needs associated with these operational areas.

The Rehabilitation Services team provides personalised case management services tailored to the needs of the department. With a focus on supporting our workforce through complex health-related matters, we provide guidance and specialised advice on early intervention and rehabilitation, driving towards positive outcomes for all stakeholders. We are guided by the needs of our business, our people, and specific human resources policies and programs.

**The Job**
- Compile and monitor a high-volume of inbox activity to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
- Utilised existing systems and procedures to assess and prioritise client inquiries and cases from intake through to allocation.
- Assign client cases to rehabilitation advisors based on established criteria and requirements.
- Ensure accurate record keeping and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience and seamless coordination of rehabilitation services.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and implement improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Establish and nurture productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support of rehabilitation services.
- Address client enquiries and correspondence, delivering responsive an informative assistance.
- Arrange and oversee logistics for rehabilitation services, including invoicing and reconciliation, and workstation assessments.
- Maintain organised electronic file management within the designated record management system (Content Manager).
- Offer comprehensive administrative support to facilitate smooth operations.

**Eligibility and other requirements**
**Citizenship** - To be eligible for employment with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water you must be an Australian citizen.

**Security Clearance** - This position requires a Baseline Vetting security
