**Salary**:
$80,000 plus superannuation

**About the Role**:
As an Accounts Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of our logistics and shipment department. You will be responsible for managing various financial processes and reports, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage drawdown processes twice a week to facilitate efficient fund utilization.
- Perform daily cash receipting from receivables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Execute price lock and US grinder (customer) invoices on a weekly basis.
- Prepare weekly Grinder payment forecast report and oversee the transfer of load inventory as necessary.
- Maintain and update Accounts Receivable (AR) records, including weekly aging reports.
- Act as a backup for processing claims, which includes NCR, carton damage claims, credit memos, and addressing USDA, warehouse damage, missing marks, overpacked, and out-of-spec issues.
- Serve as a backup for maintaining FEC contracts and daily reconciliation.
- Conduct end-of-month (EOM) reconciliation tasks, including claims reconciliation and posting monthly interests/line fees for banking.
- Establish new vendor accounts in the banking system as required and produce the monthly cold storage report.
- Undertake any other ad hoc activities as directed by the management.

*Requirements:*
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or pursuing CPA accreditation is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry or logistics and shipment sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Full work rights in Australia; backpackers or student visa holders do not apply.
