**Your new company**

Our client is a well-know local government in the Gippsland area. They are seeking a Growth Areas Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of major new land development, particularly in designated growth areas.

**Your new role**

The objective of this role is to develop and maintain an overall project plan for Council activities required to deliver major new land developments Duties of the role include:

- Statutory planning (for example subdivision permits)
- Land acquisition
- Infrastructure delivery
- Commission outsourced work as required in accordance with approved project plan
- Provide overall client relationship management with developers and other agencies/infrastructure providers involved in the development, including negotiations where appropriate
- Monitor progress, report and identify risks to delivery and to Council and where necessary initiate appropriate risk management process

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will need the following:

- Proficient with MS Office
- Qualification in Project Management
- Previous experience in this area of work
