- SC1 - Demonstrate experience and skills in assisting with the managing and coordinating of an Out of Hours School Care program for primary school aged children.
- SC2 - Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant of the position including an understanding of the Education and Care Act and Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS) and Framework for School Age Care in Australia (FSAC).
- SC3- Demonstrate capacity to assist leadership and management of a team, to assist others in planning and implementation of a high-quality program.
- SC4- Demonstrate commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others.
- SC5- Demonstrate sound communication and interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including management team, children, families, colleagues, school staff and the wider community with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- SC6- Demonstrate sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel etc.) and online childcare management system Qikkids and Teaching Made Easy App for observations.

**Role**:
To assist with the coordination Out of School Hours Care program (before school; after school Mon-Fri) and student free days 8am to 6pm.
- To assist with the coordination of the program ensuring it is of a high standard and a high quality of care.
- To work along side and support the staff of the service.
- To always adhere to the Education and Care Services National Regulations under the Education and Care Services National Law, as well as the policies, goals and philosophy of the service.
- To uphold the National Quality Framework and 'National Quality Standards' as per the 'Service 's' Philosophy, goals, policies and procedures.
- To assist that the educational and recreational programs offered are undertaken in a safe, stimulating and supportive environment for all children attending the program.
- To assist with the supervision of any other OSHC educators.
- To assist with the spending to a nominated amount per week within budget allowances for the purpose of purchasing food, drink and other consumables.
- To assist the coordination and to perform and/or supervise tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice and school policy.

**Responsibilities**:

- 1. Assist with the planning and implementation of a high quality educational program.
- 2. Assist with the promotion of the health and safety of all staff and children.
- 3. Assist in leading the team to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- 4. Contribute to the effective management of the service.

**Who May Apply**:

- Individuals with the aptitude and qualifications or working towards to fulfil the specific requirements of the position.
- Qualifications required include: Description Qualified or undertaking qualification in an ACECQA approved qualification;
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or Teachers Registration Card (VIT);
- Diploma of Children's Services preferable
- Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2);
- Food Handling Cert HLTFSE001
- Proven experience in an education/early childhood setting (family daycare references not accepted)
