As a Payment Specialist at this Big4 Bank, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to become the fastest and safest mover of funds domestically and globally. You'll join a highly engaged and collaborative team based at our South Melbourne location. Operating within the Asia time zone, your work hours will fall between 11am to 9pm Melbourne Time, and from 12pm to 9pm during Daylight Saving Time. While they observe Singapore public holidays, they work on Australian public holidays. This full-time, temporary with view to extend or go perm is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team dedicated to fostering your professional growth.

**Your new role**

In this role, your primary focus will be ensuring customers across segments receive a consistent and efficient payment experience, including situations requiring manual intervention. You will be responsible for the successful processing of diverse products within the Payment Processing team.
- Develop expertise in Payment Processing standard operating procedures.
- Ensure exceptional quality standards by executing tasks right the first time.
- Maintain high levels of productivity, contributing to efficient payment processing.
- Proactively escalate concerns or issues to team leaders and management.
- Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of Singapore's Payments landscape.
- Display an intermediate understanding of the Payments systems (Global Payplus, GCP, AMH).
- Exhibit intermediate knowledge of Payments Industry standards, including SWIFT formatting and Financial Crime Standards.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing the customer experience.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Preferably familiar with payment systems (SWIFT, GPP, GCP).
- Proficiency in Mandarin required for outbound calls related to the MIFT process.
- Basic understanding of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
- Proven capability in planning and coordinating incoming work and enquiries.
- Experience with transformation and change management is a plus.
- Possess a service-oriented mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Detail-oriented with a high commitment to quality.
