Salim Habib University was established in 2020. We provide individualised and tailored care and support to people living with disabilities. We offer a wide range of support, services and programs to our participants and their families which includes:
- Community Access
- Supported Independent Living
- Respite Care and Short Term Accommodation (STA)
- Participation in group events and activities such as Kap Mauri
We are looking for someone with strong work ethics and a burning desire to make a difference in the lives of those living with a disability.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services, the HR Support Officer is responsible for performing high end administrative functions and assisting with new projects.
As the HR Support Officer your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and executing contracts of employment for new and existing staff
- Maintaining personnel files and records for all staff
- Facilitating the employee rewards program
- Coordinating induction processes
- Coordinating the employee exit process
- Drafting and reviewing HR policies and procedures
- Assisting with the performance and probation review process
- Drafting and reviewing position descriptions as required for new and evolving positions
- Facilitating the EAP program for awareness and ease of access for all staff members across the organisation
- Coordinate online training system and records
- Assist with performance management process
- Reporting and surveys

- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- NDIS Orientation Module

The position is for a fulltime role working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm.
**Salary**: $58,677.95 - $96,530.13 per year

- Cairns, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
