Are you an experienced EL1 Procurement Advisor looking for your next opportunity via a Section 26 transfer? Join a small team supporting both Corporate and ICT procurement in an advisory capacity, no hands-on procurement required. This is a great opportunity to step into a strategic role across diverse categories.

Your new role

As the Procurement Team Leader, you'll manage a small team of 2 APS6s and provide expert advice across the full procurement lifecycle. You'll coordinate reporting obligations, develop procurement documentation and templates, and drive compliance with government frameworks. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to influence procurement practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and related legislation
  • Demonstrated experience in government procurement and contract management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and lead a team
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and providing strategic advice
  • Qualifications in Government Procurement (e.g. Cert IV or Diploma) highly regarded
  • Baseline clearance required
