Join a unique Federal Government Department located in Canberra’s south side. Your varied role encompasses team leadership and coordinating all procurement and contract management aspects related to your branch and its stakeholders.

**Your new role**

These functions encompass
- Coordinating and procurement of all goods and specialist services
- Developing tender documentation
- Coordinating contract management and complex contractor relationships
- Manage financial reporting
- Provide assessment support to employees
- Provide education briefs and presentations to stakeholders
- Oversee, and analyse project outputs

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Contract and Project Management experience
- Demonstrated complex stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience in tender development and assessment
- Baseline clearance or the willingness to obtain

**What you'll get in return**

This is the opportunity for a permanent APS6 transfer or 18 month + contract with a large and varied Government Department with access to free parking.

If permanent, you will have the opportunity to negotiate access to flexible working hours, time in lieu, and additional time off in Annual (recreational) leave of 20 days with the opportunity to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave.

In addition, the Department provides personal/carers leave of 15 days per year, maternity/adoption/fostering leave of up to 14 weeks, paid parental leave of up to 4 weeks and Christmas stand down provided as an additional paid break during the Christmas and New Year period.
