**About the role**

Join the Corporate Affairs team at Australia’s largest grain exporter and top five private companies.

We’re looking for a communications professional that can help shape and strengthen the way we engage and communicate with farmers, grain customers and the general public, plus help promote the state’s agriculture industry.

Located at the CBH Head Office in Perth’s CBD, this is full-time, permanent contract that will suit a seasoned professional who is passionate about agriculture or interested in branching out into a different sector.

**Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs and working closely with the Corporate Affairs team, key accountabilities of the role include**:
- Work collaboratively across the business to deliver engaging communications campaigns.- Develop content for a range of internal and external publications including website, intranet, presentations, speeches and maintain the relevancy and effectiveness of these channels.- Prepare and implement marketing and communications plans to deliver effective grower, employee and stakeholder engagement in line with the overall Group strategy and objectives.- Provide advice to senior leaders on effective communications on a range of matters including grower relations, media relations and employee engagement activities.- Support media relations and social media activities including preparing statements- Lead and implement the delivery of grower focused and corporate events.

**Skills and experience**:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful communications plans that align with stakeholder requirements.- Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the business, and key internal and external stakeholders.- Excellent communication and writing skills in marketing communications, media relations and employee communications.- A degree in communications, marketing, journalism or similar with a minimum of 3 years proven practical experience in a related work environment- Experience with the agricultural industry will be highly regarded.
