F&BS is working to improve and enhance our stakeholders' experience as well as finding more efficient and effective ways of doing things to enable the finance function at the University to increase focus on value-adding activities. This will include transforming the way we do things from processes to systems to implementation, all the while maintaining and building on a great culture.

**Position overview**

The Operational Excellence Manager is a key member of the Finance Transformation team within Financial & Business Services (F&BS). It plays an important role to identify, develop, support and enable achievement of operational excellence across F&BS finance functions.

They will be responsible for providing analysis, strategic advice and support to identify and enable delivery of improved operational frameworks and service delivery within F&BS and across finance functions at the University.

You will be experienced in providing strategic, comprehensive and insightful operational analysis, strategic advice and policy and procedure development relevant to the University finance operations and functions.

You will have commercial, finance and/or relevant business experience that will enable you to provide considered insights and analysis relevant to finance operations and functions within a large or similarly complex environment. You will be a strong communicator, confident and with demonstrated ability to work effectively across a large, complex organisation, developing, building and maintaining effective professional relationships with a range of high-level stakeholders.

CPA/CA or other relevant financial services qualifications and experience will be highly regarded.
