Fed Gov Agency seeking Partnerships Manager | 3 month assignment with view to extend for 24 months | Bris CBD

**Your new company**
Hays Marketing is assisting a Federal Government Agency who is seeking an experienced Partnerships Manager to join their Brisbane CBD based team. This assignment will initially be for 3 months with a 2 x 12 month potential extension option available.

**Your new role**
The EL1 Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing adoption plans and contracts with external partners, managing key strategic relationships with stakeholder groups. This position manages the relationships with commercial organisations and is required to perform under broad direction while managing complex stakeholder engagement and partnership management functions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Provide expertise across a broad range of activities relating to the work of different program areas for your stakeholder group
- Provide expert advice on complex problem solving and issues management for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage a number of employees performing diverse tasks or manage a larger team where skill sets are similar and tasks are related
- Ensure quality outputs including that your employees maintain a high level of specialist, professional and/or technical expertise
- Undertake work activities with an awareness of their possible impact on strategic, political or operational outcomes for the agency/program
- Attain and maintain an extensive understanding of the role and responsibilities of the agency, including and understanding of the APS operating environment more broadly
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities, achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation.
- Promote the agency’s business objectives through key strategic relationships with range of stakeholders.

**What you'll need to succeed**

- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
- Tertiary qualifications commensurate with the duties of the role
- In-depth understanding of the Australian Health Care sector, particularly regarding pathology and diagnostic imaging vendors
- Ability to engage and manage stakeholders through change, resolving conflict and managing sensitivities through effective communication with pathology and diagnostic imaging industry partners across all organisational levels (developer/technical, operational, management and c-suite)
- A sound understanding of business principles, contract management and budget management.
