Is a transport company operating in Southeast Queensland, specialising in container transport. **Your New Role**
The Accounts Officer contributes to the operations department by completing payroll week to week, ensuring all creditors are paid, and making sure all Debtors have paid in time with their terms and conditions with the company.

Duties consist of checking over driver timesheets, and calculating each drivers’ hours worked, and adding preparing them for payroll on Thursday’s. They will then check through payments made by Debtors and follow up with any that are approaching or exceeded payment terms. Once this is complete, they will then make all relevant payments to Creditors by logging into the online banking portal, and processing payments. Once this has been completed, they will then reconcile the bank statement to ensure the figures line up with our MYOB system with money in and money out for that day. Once the weekly hours have been calculated, the Accounts Officer will process payroll, and finish with the bank reconciliation.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Managing Payroll week to week
- Process Driver Timesheets
- Making Payments to Creditors
- Checking payments made by Debtors against Invoices
- Bank Reconciliation

**What You Will Need To Succeed**
- High attention to detail
- Ability to build and sustain relationships
- Strong customer focus
- Experience in accounting / book-keeping roles
- Proficient in the use of MYOB or similar accounting software
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
