What You'll Do

As the Customer Service Administrator, you will support the Operations Team with day-to-day administrative tasks which include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to customer queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and drivers
  • Coordinating container deliveries and liaising with transport providers
  • Managing pallet reconciliations, internal reporting, and documentation
  • Entering and maintaining data in the MPI system to ensure compliance
  • Supporting general office administration, including filing and data entry
  • Ensuring compliance with stock control procedures and identifying non-conformance
  • Maintaining accurate records and following written procedures
  • Assisting with ad-hoc operational tasks and contributing to a positive team environment
  • Upholding attendance standards and being punctual and prepared for assigned shifts

What Experience and Education You Need

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams, drivers, and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Teams
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to changing priorities and operational needs
  • Basic understanding of MPI requirements and compliance procedures (preferred but not essential)
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to continuous improvement

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods with frequent interruptions
  • Regular movement including sitting, standing, reaching, and bending throughout the day
  • Manual dexterity for typical office tasks such as typing, filing, and handling documents
  • Talking, hearing, and seeing are essential for effective communication and task completion
  • May require occasional travel by car or plane for business purposes
  • May involve visits to warehouse environments, including areas with cold storage temperatures at or below freezing
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving of items up to 10kg
  • Use of various electronic tools and systems for data entry and communication
