**About the role**
The Client Manager (Tax and Accounting) plays a vital role in delivering a range of public practice tax and accounting services to our diverse international client base. This is an excellent opportunity to become a key contributor within our fast-growing Tax and Accounting team, supporting growing international businesses on their journey into the Australian market. Leading a high-performing and close-knit team of tax and accounting professionals, this role reports directly to the Group Managing Director and provides key operational leadership and client relationship management across the Tax and Accounting portfolio.
**About you**
You will bring your positive, can-do attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, professionalism and customer service focus and you will have:
- CA/CPA professional registration
- Registered tax agent (highly regarded)
- A minimum 5 years' public practice tax, accounting and business advisory experience at a Manager or more senior level
- Extensive experience and high level technical skills in relation to tax matters (inc: returns, income tax variations, FBT returns, Div 7A, depreciation, franking accounts and dividend imputation, deferred GST, etc.), financial statement preparation, bookkeeping and payroll
- Extensive experience with preparation, lodgment and review of BAS and IAS
- Experience and skill in people leadership and management, particularly coaching and other feedback and development approaches
- Exposure to modern accounting systems (ideally Xero)
- Strong time management skills
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- A desire to learn from your colleagues and work together to succeed.
