This Federal Government Department in collaboration with other Federal agencies, consumers and stakeholders aims to improve the agricultural landscape through effective policy advising, research and regulation.
**Your new role**
- Providing technical support and advice in relation to approved arrangements under the Biosecurity Act and associated legislation.
- Managing workload and activities in relation to ongoing management of Class 19 approved arrangements, policies and associated compliance and regulation.
- Exercise judgement, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within set timeframes gather, understand and interpret complex technical information, problem solve complex issues and make sound judgement on the next course of action effectively manage and interpret information to support decisions
- Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing high-quality written communication
- Providing support to section, branch and divisional projects as they relate to the operation of class 19 approved arrangements.
- Provide leadership and supervision to a small team to support the achievement of operational outcomes in a regulatory environment
**What you'll need to succeed**
- You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline) personnel security clearance.
- Hold a substantial APS6 Position within the Australian Public Service
