We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated professionals for several **APS6 level roles** in environmental regulation and program coordination, working with a government department on high-impact programs relating to environmental management at federal airports. These roles are a mix of labour hire, on-ongoing (s26 transfer) and non-ongoing Remote applicants from outside Canberra are encouraged to apply, with flexibility available for alternate locations where operational needs allow.
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated professionals for several **APS6 level roles** in environmental regulation and program coordination, working with a government department on high-impact programs relating to environmental management at federal airports.
These roles will play a key part in supporting critical projects such as the **PFAS Airports Investigation Program** and regulatory compliance activities across Australia's airports.
Available Positions:

Key Responsibilities:
As part of the PFAS Taskforce, your responsibilities will include:
- Program Coordination: Assist in overseeing contaminated land investigations at airports, including coordinating schedules, tasks and contract administration.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including consultants, airport lessees and environmental regulators to ensure successful program outcomes.
- Financial & Contract Management: Monitor project budgets, track financial performance, manage contract compliance and assist with procurement processes.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks, escalate issues as required and contribute to reporting and policy advice related to PFAS investigations.
Working in the Environmental Regulation Section, your tasks will include:
- Policy Development: Assist with the review and update of regulations and guidelines to support ongoing compliance and policy development.
- Stakeholder Consultation: Work closely with key stakeholders to provide technical advice and ensure alignment with legislative and policy requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- **Experience in program coordination, contract management, procurement, financial management and regulatory compliance.**:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and make sound, timely decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders and produce high-quality reports and briefs.
- Problem-solving abilities to navigate complex environmental and regulatory challenges and contribute to policy decision-making.
