Based near the inner city of Hobart, this venue offers a bar, a restaurant & a small hotel. It’s a lively hub where locals and travellers converge. You’ll be at the helm of creating memorable experiences for the guests.
**Your new role**
As the Venue Manager, you will wear multiple hats and oversee various aspects of the operations, such as;
Back of house
- Managing invoicing, ordering and payroll
Bar, Restaurant and hotel management
- Curate an enticing beverage menu, ensuring quality and variety.
- Rostering and leading the team of bartenders and waiters, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee the kitchen
- Organise themed nights, live music, and special events to keep the venue buzzing.
- Ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest enquiries.
- Oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and room availability.
- Strive for excellence in guest experiences.
Team Management
- Rostering and hiring staff
- Inspire staff to deliver outstanding customer service and foster a cohesive team spirit and encourage professional growth.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You have proven experience in the hospitality industry, a genuine love for the sector and strong leadership skills. You are energetic, dynamic, think out of the box and can communicate and relate to a wide range of people. You’re motivated to improve the standards of the venue and the customer experience. You are available to work evenings and weekends and hold your RSA.
